Weston Park is looking for volunteers!

Weston Park, the stately home on the Shropshire \ Staffordshire border is looking for budding new volunteers to join the growing team in assisting with the running of the historic estate’s education programme.
The Education Department are searching for volunteers to help with the delivery of school trips to the estate, including WW2 days, Traditional Toy Days and Nature Days.

Claire Cumming, Education Manager at Weston Park says “volunteering in the Education Department at Weston Park is rewarding for volunteers of all ages. Whether people are looking for experience to go on their CV, or something interesting to do with a few spare hours a week, we welcome all.”
Weston Park’s Education Department has recently been awarded its fourth consecutive Sandford Award for Heritage Education in recognition of its delivery of school visits and are therefore looking for new Leaders and Assistants to join the friendly team and continue to provide such a successful programme.
Volunteers at Weston receive a number of benefits for their assistance on the estate, including free entry for them and three guests to the Park and Gardens, a Christmas Drinks Party and more.
Pat Scarrott, a current volunteer in the Education Department says
‘‘I really enjoy volunteering with the Education team. I’ve made some great new friends and at our Annual Dinner we have the privilege of eating in the Dining Room of the House which is fantastic.’’
