If you become a Friend of the Historic Houses Association, your membership card will give you free access to nearly 300 houses and gardens in England, Scotland and Wales.

HHA properties open to Friends include:

Large and famous palaces such as Castle Howard and Blenheim
Small and special houses such as Chenies and Owlpen Manors
Some of the finest gardens in the land
Winners of the HHA/Christie's Garden of the Year Award such as Hever Castle, Athelhampton and Cottesbrooke Hall

National Trust & Caravan Club Special Offer

The HHA is offering 15 months Friends Membership for the price of 12 for National Trust and Caravan Club Members (for the first year of membership only which must be paid by credit or debit card). To take advantage of this special offer, in addition to purchasing membership online, National Trust/Caravan Club Members must complete and sign the following direct debit mandate form and send it to the HHA. On receipt of this form your Friends Membership cards and welcome pack will be despatched. This offer only applies to new memberships.

Reduced Rate

Members of NADFAS, The Art Fund, CLA or SPAB are entitled to a £3.00 reduction on your order. (You will need to enter your membership number and name of the particular organisation on the next screen)

Please note that there are no concessionary rates for senior citizens and as a general guide most of our Houses give free access to children under 5 years of age. The Association has no life membership and is unable to accept Gift Aid donations.

Special Delivery £10.00 (UK residents only)

Items sent by special delivery will arrive within 48 hours if requested by 12 noon on a working day. Please note that the Special Delivery service is not available during bank holiday periods.

Please note that Friends must always show their membership cards in order to gain free entry. Therefore, Friends must wait for delivery of their joining packs before making use of the free entry scheme.
