Council

Chairman: Edward Harley, President of the HHA

The Council is the overall supervisory body of the Association.  Representatives from the HHA's 13 regions sit on the Council as well as Members of the Board, the Chairman of the Successors' Group, the National Friends' Representative, the Patron and Vice-Patron and past Presidents of the HHA and up to three co-opted individuals.

The Council meets quarterly to review the actions and proposals of the Board and its committees, in relation both to external policy and the financial operation of the Association. The Council has the power to request the Board to review ations taken or to reconsider proposals made by the Board.

The Council elects up to four Full Members of the HHA annually to serve on the Board.
