Civil Ceremony and Wedding Reception

Scone Palace has added to its portfolio of wedding facilities with the opening of the magnificent new Murray Suite. The suite, comprising the Tullibardine and Balvaird rooms, has stunning views out across the Estate and parklands and provides a magnificent setting for smaller, intimate ceremonies and receptions for up to 40 guests.

The Tullibardine features a magnificently restored open fire and is sumptuously decorated in tones of gold, with antiques lending an air of elegance and sophistication to the surroundings. The Balvaird features décor in rich hues of gold and red, Zoffany fabrics, antique bronze chandeliers and portraits by renowned artists including Raeburn. The rooms can be hired singly or together, making it the perfect venue for your ceremony and reception.

The Palace is also the perfect venue for larger events. Ceremonies for over 100 guests can be held beneath the ornate vaulted ceiling of the Long Gallery, with music played on the original pipe organ while light shines through stained glass arched windows.

Alternatively choose the lavishly furnished State Drawing Room, surrounded by candlelight, lit fireplaces and silk wall hangings, overlooking the glorious Palace grounds.

For smaller wedding breakfasts of up to 22 guests, the State Dining room offers its own taste of history. With its unique collections of European ivories, its portraits and clocks and fine porcelains and bronzes, it is a room designed for entertaining on a grand scale.
