A four-square, 18th century house by Robert Adam, on an ancient site, with facades recast in castellated neo-Norman style a century later. The seat of Lord Clifford of the CABAL, Charles II's great minister - whose pioneering collection of Dutch paintings is on view, as is the rich marble Catholic chapel.
Features: Terraced gardens with views over Dartmoor set within a 'Capability' Brown park.
