Gardens surround 15th century moated manor owned by the Walpole family since 1740's. Roses feature throughout, especially in the walled Heritage Rose Garden reflecting changing tastes in gardens and roses. Also lake, shrubs, trees, follies, scented garden, wildflowers and extensive walks.
Gardens: May-September: Sundays 12-5pm. June-August: Wednesday-Friday, 11am-5pm, and at other times by prior appointment. Park walks: daily from 9am. Medieval Hall open by appointment.
