Loseley Park, built in 1562 by Sir William More to entertain Queen Elizabeth I, is a fine example of Elizabethan architecture, featuring many fine works of art. The House is set amid magnificent parkland. The two and a half acre Walled Garden, based on a Gertrude Jekyll design, contains 5 separate 'rooms' each with their own theme. These include an award-winning rose garden, an extensive herb garden, a fruit and flower garden, a stunning white garden and an organic vegetable garden. New last year was a lovely flower meadow which can be viewed from the moat walk.
