20th century gardens designed by the Loder family following the principles of William Robinson. With naturalistic woodland planting begun in 1906, the 25-acre gardens are full of acid-loving rare plants, with woodland vistas created by ponds and open clearings.

Explore 25 acres of magical beautiful, peaceful woodland and water gardens. Daffodils, bluebells, azaleas, naturalised gentians, autumn colours. Owner/Manager guided tours at any time. The Hon Edward & Mrs Boscawen have managed the gardens for over 30 years. They are Royal Horticultural Society Judges and Committee Members and International Dendrology Society Members.
