Built in 1705 and significantly expanded in 1752, Rode Hall is a comfortable, red brick country house bounded by a Humphrey Repton park and lake. In the early 19th century John Hope altered the interior to give a Regency feel to the entrance hall and other principal rooms, while Lewis Wyatt extended the dining room with a ribbed ceiling after Hope's death.
