Capesthorne Hall near Macclesfield has been the family home of the Bromley Davenports since 1726.



The distinctive Jacobean style house with its Georgian Chapel and delightful gardens and lakes is set in over 100 acres of parkland.



The fresh and vibrant interior contains an amazing collection of historic paintings; marbles; sculptures; porcelains; English, European, Far Eastern and American antique furniture collected by family members.



The Hall and Grounds are open to visitors between April and October each year and also offer, throughout the year, superb facilities for weddings, special occasions and celebrations, day conferences, business meetings & dinners, corporate hospitality, marquee events, concerts, shows and fairs.

Summer; Apr-Oct: Suns, Mons & BHs. Hall: 1.30-4pm. Last admission 3.30pm. Gardens & Chapel: 12 noon-5pm. Groups welcome by appointment.
