Tall, brick mansion of 1671 designed by Lady Elizabeth Wilbraham on the site of a medieval manor for the Earls of Bradford. The facades have unusual semi-circular pediments.

Set within 1,000 acres of magnificent gardens and grounds, there is an endless choice of attractions for everyone. The House contains one of Britain’s most important art collections, with internationally significant works by Van Dyck, Holbein, Constable, Lely and Gainsborough together with superb furniture ascribed to Chippendale, Gillows and Morel and Hughes.

Saturdays. Private house & garden tours are available for groups.

As a Charitable Educational Trust, the aim of the Foundation is to use the rich heritage and extensive facilities at Weston for the benefit of future generations.

Weston provides a focal point for the diverse needs of schools, colleges and universities by allowing teachers and lecturers to combine work in the classroom with an inspiring outdoor environment and currently welcomes over 7,000 school children per year.

The Learning Department is dedicated to working with a range of educational establishments and strives to offer more informative and enjoyable visits that address the National Curriculum requirements in addition to identified QCA schemes of work.

The beauty and tranquility of the House is the result of centuries of creativity, collecting and patronage of artists and craftsmen, by generations of one family, the Bridgemans, Earls of Bradford.

Gifted to the nation by Richard, the 7th and present Earl of Bradford, now in the care of the Trustees of The Weston Park Foundation, Weston is a magnificent Stately Home set in 1,000 acres of parkland and situated on the Staffordshire/Shropshire border.
