The house is a Victorian Jacobean extension to a Tudor house with C18 additions - a real mixture. It is not open to the public but is a Wolsey Lodge.
The four acre Victorian gardens are open free of charge daily 10am-5pm to Friends of the HHA, as well as customers of the Travelling shop and Mill Yard cafe. The garden is both sides of Morland Beck with a quarry garden, orchard, rose garden and beck walk. The beck enters the garden over a waterfall.
