Felley Priory Garden

Underwood, Nottinghamshire, NG16 5FL

t:07774 277812

Felley Priory was founded in 1156 and dissolved by Henry VIII in 1536. Later that century a new smaller house was built, which was added to in 1886. The garden was designed by Mrs. Chaworth-Musters, starting in 1976, when the hedges were planted and the herbaceous borders begun. The 2.5 acre garden laid out from 1975 onwards with herbaceous borders and topiary. The garden contains a number of rare plants together with a nursery and tea room which is open from February to October.
