Lydiard House & Park is the ancestral home of the Viscounts Bolingbroke. The Palladian house contains original family furnishings and portraits, exceptional plasterwork and rare 17th century painted window. The Georgian walled garden has beautiful seasonal displays of flowers, fruit trees and unique garden features. The adjacent St Mary's church contains many monuments to the St John family including famous triptych and golden cavalier statue. The image of Lydiard House & Park above is by Jane Gifford.
House & Walled Garden: Tuesday - Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays:
March - October 11am - 5pm
November - February 11am-4pm.
Closed 24-26 December & 1 January.
Grounds open daily (except 25 December) from 7.30am to dusk.
