Worcester College occupies a 26-acre site situated to the west of the junction of Beaumont Street and Walton Street in Oxford. Its buildings include 14th Century and 15th Century monastic camerae in the north east and forming the southern range of the Main Quadrangle, the Library, Hall and Chapel range built to designs by Nicholas Hawksmoor and George Clarke from 1720, and the Northern Terrace and Provost’s Lodgings built between 1735 and 1776 to the designs of George Clarke and Henry Keene. The Chapel and Hall were completed by James Wyatt. The buildings are set in extensive formal and informal gardens, which include a lake.

Worcester offers a variety of conference and event venues, including the Ruskin Lane Room, our newest, and the Linbury Building, which has a superb aspect set at the edge of the gardens. Both sites enjoy a secluded location, protected from the bustle of the city outside the walls.

The LINBURY BUILDING is a modern, self-contained unit that includes the main meeting room, a reception area, cloakrooms and satellite kitchens. Set in the College gardens, it is especially suited to meetings, presentations, private lunches, dinners, and receptions. Capacity: 100 for receptions; 80 for meetings and presentations (theatre style); 50 for lunch or dinner.

Built in 2007, the RUSKIN LANE BUILDING'S facility can accommodate conferences and day meetings, as well as receptions and small dinners. The room can be divided into two individual seminar/breakout rooms that will hold up to 30 delegates each. Capacity: 70 theatre; 40 boardroom.

Part of the eighteenth-century block comprising the Chapel, Lodge and Library, the HALL provides a magnificent setting for lunch or dinner, as part of a conference or as an individual booking. Capacity: 120 for lunch or dinner.

Over 250 single en-suite study-bedrooms are available in College out of term time, ranging from the medieval cottages and eighteenth-century block in the main quad, to purpose-built rooms overlooking the gardens. Room amenities: telephone and ethernet port.
