Abberley Hall has been described by English Heritage as one of the finest remaining examples of the Victorian Country House, comparable with Osborne House and Brodsworth Hall. It was built in the Italianate style by Samuel Daukes in 1845 and sits in 100 acres of historic parkland which includes a remarkable Pulhamite water garden. The interior is testament to the work of James Lamb who was commissioned to decorate and furnish the house in the 1880s, and this scheme remains largely intact. Since 1916, Abberley Hall has been the home of a prep school and The Abberley Hall Foundation seeks to care for its remarkable inheritance.
Abberley Hall is now open for prebooked parties. Please contact the Hall on the above details for further information.
