A Medieval manor house dating from 1300, owned by three interrelated families, originally built by Knyvett family with Tudor, Georgian and Victorian alterations and additions from subsequent owners - the Lynnes and the Caprons.
Bank Holiday Sundays & Mondays: 8/9 April; 6/7 May; 3/4 June; 26/27 August; 9 September under Heritage Open Days scheme; all 2-5pm. Last admission 4.30pm.

Dating from the 14th century and owned successfully by three families, Southwick Hall illustrates the development of the manor house and remains a family home. 11 rooms are open, 2 of which house a Victorian family memorabilia exhibition and there are further exhibitions in the stable block, of village life, and farm and carpentry tools, and archaeological finds. The grounds contain some impressive trees.
