Grays Court one of the oldest continuously occupied houses in the country and is listed at grade 1 as a building of special architectural and historic interest. The building is located in the minster precinct, a conservation area within the candidate world heritage site.

Historic property dating back to 1080 including 90ft jacobean long gallery. Exterior gardens backing onto city walls located in historic core of York in the minster precinct. Previous productions include Heartbeat and subject of an observational documentary.
Grays Court is licensed for civil ceremonies and can offer an intimate dining experience for up to 16 around one table in the minster/fairfax room. The sterne room will seat up to 40 for dinner and we can seat up to 90 in the gallery.
Grays Court can offer either the minster/fairfax style meeting, alternatively the sterne room will seat up to 50 theatre style. Also available is tea/coffee, water and fruit and if required a sandwich lunch menu. Grays Court can also give you access to projectors, screen, flipcharts, pens and paper.
