A late 15th to early 16th century wool merchant's Manor House, built in the Flemish style with iconic stepped gable end, built of stone. The House boasts a fabulous scheme of early 16th century wall paintings, said to be the 'most complete, extensive and important domestic decoration of this date in the country'. Set in a nicely laid out two acre garden.
From Easter until 31 October: Daily, from 10am to 5pm. Closed Tuesdays.
However, as Ellys Manor House is a private home the house may, on occasions, have to close without prior notice due to other committments. To avoid disappointment please telephone first.

A possible venue for a romantic wedding reception due to its setting - adjacent to Church. At the right time of year a large marquee could be supplied. It would also be possible to arrange the use of the lovely village centre. All in close proximity and comfortable for a hundred people.
