The present house is the gatehouse range of a larger medieval house dating from the 13th century. Its facade includes brickwork of c. 1510 and a later battlemented parapet. The interior includes features rescued from the demolished Hall Range, including a Charles II Grand Staircase.



Features: Courtyard garden of 1875 planted with roses, herbaceous beds and an elaborate box parterre.

The house is open every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 1st February- 29th March 2011. Tulip Sunday- 10th April

Charming late medieval manor house set in 30 acres of parkland gardens with regional furniture and family portraits. Groups are welcome by appointment throughout the year. Lunches and dinners could be provided. Weddings and conferences.
