This castellated medieval manor house around two courtyards has remained unchanged since the reign of Henry VIII. It reeks of antiquity and has some of the finest untouched interiors, including the Long Gallery, Great Hall and Chapel. Sensitively restored by the 9th Duke of Rutland last century.
Features: Revived Tudor rose gardens on terraces following the contours of the building and fully realising the ideal of the 'pleasaunce garden'.
