Home of the Brudenell family since 1514 including the 7th Earl of Cardigan who led the Charge of the Light Brigade; this Tudor and Regency mansion is surrounded by beautiful gardens, a large park and lake.

Rambling castellated Tudor mansion with medieval origins. Great Hall with chestnut hammerbeam roof, 1571. The Garden Front is part 16th century and part 19th century. Home of 7th Earl of Cardigan who led Charge of the Light Brigade - with associated memorabilia of the event.

Features: The gardens have been largely made over the last 30 years with long, mixed borders of shrubs, old fashioned roses and flowers. Landscaped park. Recent parterre designed by David Hicks and riverside walks.
