Casterne Hall is a Grade II* manor house stunningly set in its own grounds in the Peak District National Park . It is considered to be one of the most beautiful houses in the area and features in Simon Jenkins' book, ‘ England 's Thousand Best Houses'.

There have been several films made at Casterne over the years including 'Jane Eyre', 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' and 'Far From the Madding Crowd'. Film-makers particularly like the fine buildings, pannelled rooms, wonderful countryside and absolute quiet.
School groups are welcome to visit the house and farm, which is rich in wildlife.

Civil Ceremony and Reception
Casterne is licensed for marriages and receptions for up to 60 people. Larger marquee parties can be held on the lovely Manifold Valley Showground above the house.
Casterne offers corporate lunches and dinners for up to 22 people, with log fires and candlelight.
