Penpont has been used for a number of film and photo shoots over the past few years.
Films shot on location include:

A TV Drama: Heaven on Earth. 1995,
Simon Magus, 1996 .
We have also hosted a shoot from ‘Top Gear’, (The Land Rover Bowler chasing the Mountainboarder down the hill), and a number of TV wild Food programs.

Penpont is one of the finest homes situated within the heart of The Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales. It is surrounded by 40 acres of gardens and grounds and can offer self-catering accommodation as well as home and garden tours.

Penpont can offer a choice of two unique venues for your event, be it a Wedding party, anniversary, or Birthday:
For numbers less than 100, we suggest using the Stables: a complete venue package with Dining Room, commercial kitchen, bar area, party/dance room, and WCs all under one roof. Please refer to our STABLES page.
For Numbers greater than 100 people: marquees can be erected on the flat lawn in front of the house. We have a list of local Marquee companies that have worked here, and we leave the decision entirely to you.

West Courtyard Wing
The self contained Courtyard Wing can be found to the rear of the main house. It has its own entrance through an enclosed landscaped courtyard and can sleep up to 17 people within six bedrooms.
We now offer secluded camping pitches hidden amongst a mature tree and shrub garden, formerly the old Rose garden. An enclosed garden that provides a safe haven for young and old.
