A grim 14th century castle situated above the gorge of the River Tweed and converted in the 17th century to a tower house with immensely thick walls, arrow slits, a pit prison and few creature comforts. Although partially ruined, it gives a vivid picture of medieval life.
2008: Due to refurbishment Neidpath Castle is closed to visitors during the 2008 season

Civil ceremonies
Lower Hall available for ceremony. Max numbers 60. Smaller Hall upstairs available for drinks reception afterwards. Please contact the castle custodian.
Dining possible for 50 max. No kitchen facilities. Caterer responsible for arrangements.
