Civil Ceremony and Wedding Reception
Set against the magnificent backdrop of the Grampian Mountains, Glamis Castle is the most romantic setting for your wedding. A Castle of legends and fairytales, Glamis - the childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and ancestral home of the Earls of Strathmore - offers a truly unique venue for your wedding ceremony and reception.
You may opt to have your wedding under the scented bowers of the peaceful Italian Garden or in Glamis Kirk. Later, the Castle can host up to 90 guests for dinner or, as an alternative, your party can move to the Castle Lawns for a marquee reception.
Smaller and more intimate ceremonies can also be held in the Castle's 16th century kitchens for up to 40 guests.
