Situated in the heart of the beautiful Scottish border countryside, this enchanting historic 14th Century Castle has been opened up to guests as an exclusive and very personal venue by its owners, the Hay family.
Civil Ceremony and Wedding Reception
If you choose to marry in the Castle, you have a choice of the cathedral-like gothic hall for small parties, or the beautiful vaulted main reception room for larger groups.
The reception can take any form you wish - a Scottish tea, with your champagne/sparkling wine & possibly the cake/speeches, followed later by perhaps the piper/dancer entertainment and then a sit-down dinner(or buffet if larger than 65/70, but below 90) or you can merely have canapes, or no food and an early dinner.Accommodation is available in the Castle.
Church available for religious ceremonies.
