This large, rare collection results from assiduous planting by Sir Leonard Ropner from 1927 until his death in 1977. 85 acres are arranged for autumn colour in one area, daffodils in another, and wild flowers. There is also a 16th century spring wood and a 19th century pinetum.
Spring, Summer & Autumn (Mid-February to Mid-November):
The Arboretum, Tearoom, Bird of Prey & Mammal Centre are open daily from 10am to 5pm.
Flying Displays at 11.30am, 1.30pm & 3.30pm.
Animal Guided Tour at 12.15pm.
Winter(Mid-November to Mid-February:

Flying displays at 1.30pm (Monday to Friday)
