The formal gardens, feature terraces, rills and an orangery, are the supreme example of the Lutyens/Jekyll partnership. The newly restored landscape garden, designed by Coplestone Warre Bampfylde in 1750, conatains 40 acres of Georgian pleasure grounds including classical temples and a Great Cascade.
All year: daily, 10am-6pm (last admission 5pm). Groups & coach parties by arrangement.

Civil Ceremony and Wedding Reception
Weddings - Wedding ceremonies for up to 65 people can be held in The Orangery in the Gardens. The Bampfylde Hall in the Garden's visitor centre is fully licensed and provides an impressive setting for the reception with seating for up to 112 with professional in-house catering.
