An Edwardian recreation of a house originally built c. 1620, and rebuilt by Sir Guy Dawber between 1910-1914 in brick and timber in the Elizabethan/Jacobean style. Interiors include much Elizabethan and Jacobean furniture, including clocks, as well as the Moffatt collection of scaled down period furniture in panelled rooms.

Civil Ceremony and Wedding Reception
The house is available for a limited number of weddings receptions each year. The Great Hall is licensed for 120 guests and will accommodate 80 guests for a seated meal.
Smaller parties may appreciate the oak panelled dining room seating 50 guests. The warmth and friendliness that the Lodge exudes helps in providing exclusivity in a very relaxed style. Surrounding the Lodge are beautifully manicured gardens and wonderful parkland perfect for a marquee reception.
Hamptworth Lodge is perfect for formal or informal occasions and combined with the gardens and surrounding parkland, makes a fantastic venue for meetings, conferences, lunches and dinners or team building and activity days. The Great Hall can accommodate 120 guests in a theatre style setting and the oak panelled dining room will seat 70 in the same layout. There is also a Tythe Barn which offers meeting facilities for upto 120 guests.
