Meaning 'house of the trees', this is a neat Palladian house by Thomas Edwards of Greenwich, lived in by the same family for over 250 years. Interiors include the Dining Room by Sir Robert Taylor with rococo plasterwork, and family collections. Much of the furniture was made for the house.
Features: Outstanding gardens with rare plants, including tree magnolias and many other rare species. The 200-yard long lawn gives one of the most memorable house and garden vistas in England.
