Groups and special visitsBack to top

Deans Court lends itself perfectly to groups of 15 to 45 people. The tour brings to life the 1,000 year story of a manor house at the centre of a rural English community, as it passed from the Saxon Church to a family of adventurers, politicians, churchmen and soldiers. Led by Sir Willliam and Lady Hanham, whose family have lived here for 500 years, the triumphs and tragedies of the inhabitants are revealed using the long run of portraits, while architecture, taste and social history are explored en route. The tour of the ancient gardens provides much to delight the eye, from the monastic fishpond, herb garden and mature specimen trees to the serpentine walls around the flourishing kitchen garden.

Each visit is tailored to suit your group and is rounded off by your choice of refreshments.
