Jousting with Robin Hood at Leeds Castle, Kent

Catch the exciting Jousting Tournament at Leeds Castle near Maidstone, Kent on 18th and 19th September, with additional activities for all the family to enjoy.

“Jousting with Robin Hood”, supported by Heart FM, features twice daily jousts from knights on horseback and men at arms against the stunning backdrop of the medieval castle. Non–stop action features galloping horses, daredevil stunts, falls and fights in an authentic jousting arena along with characters from the tales of Robin Hood.

Additional activities taking place on the Cedar Lawn over the weekend include archery demonstrations and a children’s craft making marquee. Some activities incur a small additional charge.

The weekend is an opportunity to discover the many attractions the castle offers. Besides the historic castle and glorious gardens, there’s an internationally acclaimed aviary, World of Wings free flying bird displays, a fascinating dog collar museum, maze and grotto and the Knights’ Realm Playground.

Tickets cost £17.50 for Adults; £15.00 for Senior Citizens and visitors with disabilities (carer goes free); £10.00 for Children (under 4’s free). Every ticket to Leeds Castle is valid for 12 months and includes entry to an extensive programme of varied and exciting events.

Leeds Castle is located near Maidstone in Kent just off Junction 8 of the M20, and only one hour’s drive from London. Grounds open at 10am daily and the castle is open from 10.30am. Last admission is 4.30pm and gates close at 6pm.
